Damn the school holidays. Damn the school holidays for letting the kids out, for crowding out shopping centres, for not allowing me to have my lunch quietly, for taking up the seats in the food court.
As you can see, I am feeling very selfish today.

The weekend has flown by........... AGAIN.
Why does every weekend fly by SO quickly??
Sigh.
But nonetheless, despite the speed at which the last two days of the week fly by, it was a wonderful weekend.
Woke up early for once today and we took a bus down to Ridout Tea Garden for Macs Breakfast.
After breakfast, KH decided to show me his hang-out places of his past.
So we went through Far East Florist to Ridout Road. From Ridout Road to Peel Road. Then to Swettenham Road, then to Pierce Road, then to some-road-of-which-i-forgot-the-name. And then ending up at Napier Road, in front of Gleneagles Hospital.
Along the way we saw a lot of interesting houses, both new and old, most of which are HUGE mansions where you would expect butlers and servants, houses with huge pools (they are pools, not ponds, because u can actually do laps in them), houses perched on top of hills with a long drive way up, just like you would see in a fairy tale, where the castle is, black-and-white houses that you know probably hide a lot of history and stories in them, some houses with guards at the front, etc etc etc.
Along the way we also discovered one of the most interestig Ben and Jerry's outlet in Singapore, and even met the owner of the BnJ franchise. One day when I am less sweaty and less tired, I would love to come back to this BnJ to chill again.
Along the way, I also saw one of the largest spider I have ever seen. Larger than my hand, it was nestling happily in the middle of its web, in the shade, in a spider web which could have been as tall as me (I didn't dare go too near).
Came back totally tired and totally sweaty, but having discovered something new is always exciting.

Today is week 10 of term 2.
It's the week when parents start collecting school report books.
It's the week when kids start deciding what to do next week in their free time.
It's the week before kids start descending on shopping centres during weekdays and you wish they will just be locked up again back in school.
It's the week when in MGS, you sit around and wait for the holidays to come.
Yeah, the school holidays are starting next week!!!!!!!!!!!
NNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Singnet Users Cannot Blog on Blogger.
Only Singnet Users. So Singnet sucks. But then I already know that. Which is also the reason why I am blogging at work.
In other news, I'm loving Facebook.
Seriously, this is one single network which has connected my friends from UK and Singapore. Friendster never really took to those chaps up in the north, which is why I am glad Facebook did. Now ALL my friends are together in one network.
So go join Facebook if you haven't already!

Can you see this post?
Something wrong here with the blogger interface. Apparently it's a singnet problem, cuz the singnet ppl in Singapore all seem to be having this problem.
It doesn't work on Firefox. Let's see if this post comes up if i use IE.

I must be mad.
Can't believe I am thinking about this.
Two weeks to Great Singapore Sale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SHIT.
I must be shopping deprived.
Which really shouldn't be the case in shopping-galore Singapore.

Should I? Or Should I not??
It's been four days.
Four days is never long, by any standards really. But still too long anyway.
So how?
Sigh.
