When it come to the Maldives, You don't really need many words. Sometimes, the pictures say it all.

Because of the amazing life that is underwater, hoteliers have tried to capitalise on that by having some of their facilities built underwater. The first is Huvafen Fushi's underwater spa, while the second is Hilton's underwater restaurant.

And just when you think it couldnt get any better, somehow or rather, it always does. One night only, but better than nothing.

You want a hard wash? Or a soft one? You prefer a strong spray, or a soft one? Or you can turn it off all together. Remember though, that the seat is heated, hence do not sit down too quickly when u really need to go, or else you might have to go to the doctor's for treatment of a burn instead. ;)

Got a new tagboard. Not sure why the old one died. Not that it matters anyway.

Anyway, straight after Tokyo, I had a wonderful holiday in Phuket. Phuket is nice, in a quiet laid back way. THe only gripe I had about the price of transport there, which if I may say is just about as expensive as Singapore. Other than that, it was all good. And finding that things in Phuket cost about half of what it is in Singapore, you can be sure that I bought loads of stuff back.

I have to say, I am really proud of my choice of hotel. Being in Karon and not Phuket, the hotel was so much quieter, and being on a hilltop, you can the sea in front of you and the hills behind. And wonderful pool and jacuzzi too. All for less than what it costs to stay in a Singapore hotel of an equivalent standard.

And I found the following on my way from the hotel to Phuket town. Bearing my name, of course i have to take photos.

I am currently sitting in the Taj Exotica in the Maldives.

Waiting for my boat transfer to the airport.

No, i did not stay here, but I came here for a visit.

I have to say, of those that i visited, this one has the best waters. HUGE lagoon.

Pictures to come.

I know I always say pictures to come, and I know I now have a photo and blog backlog.

But this one I will. You have to see it. :)

As you can see, I am a little bored at work, which is why i am blogging again right now. Twice in a day, both times at work.

Definitely bored.

But actually not really. I have a full draft report which needs to be completed by Friday with three sets of projections for three different scenarios.

I think that after the 3am exit yesterday, my concentration today is a little fried.

Anyway, here are some nice photos to share. Sunset over Bukit Batok, taken from Kin Ho's room. :)

NEW HAIR

I've gone all schoolgirl again.

Got my hair cut short, to the length like it was in sec school/jc days.

No layering somemore.

Still evaluating my fondness for my new hairstyle.

In other news,

3am exit yesterday from the office. New record.

I would have blogged today. Maybe about the weird gadgets in Japan or about the heat in Phuket.
But then I cannot find my camera cable! So another day perhaps.

Yes, this is a totally redundant post. Of course when I don't write, it means u wait till another day. Duh. But I don't care. :)

TOKYO

It didn't disappoint me in the least bit. Wonderful weather, though it was a little too hot for my liking, I was sweating in my suit, but a completely different place, and as you travel from one district to another, you certainly feel the atmosphere change, the people, the ambience, the purpose.

But then again, when you can travel to somewhere, and have the freshest maguro, sea urchin and ikura (salmon roe) at a steal and spend less than what you would spend for 4 $1.90 plates at Sakae Sushi, how can you be disappointed? :)

A dog sleeping in one of the numerous pet shops arond Tokyo; this one was found in Roppongi.

Just catching the start of the cherry blossom season.

Shinjuku - DAY: Skyscraper City; NIGHT: Billboards Galore

After Tokyo was madness in the office as we moved from Tanjong Pagar to Bugis, and then it was a very very very nice personal holiday at Phuket, which will be another story and another post in itself.
