Sea urchin tastes weird, with a bitter aftertaste. But for 310yen, i think it is a good try.

The best maguro I ever tried. Really really good. So fresh, so soft.

Silverfish sushi anyone?

Or mini ika sushi?

All these for less than 21o yen for each portion.

Shiok.

I still have two more handrolls which i bought at 105 yen on discount.

Tomorrow's breakfast.

Though I have to say that the bread here is very good too.

Everything on blogger is in Japanese now, cuz I think Blogger detects the Japanese IP address and promptly changes everything to Japanese.

Good thing i know where everything is.

Ohayo!!!!!!!!!! :)

Japanese people can be very nice. Today we met one who is very very very sweet.

Then we met a Nippon-ised Singaporean, who told us about where all the good food is.

Apparently we came at the wrong time.

Why so?

(1) The cherry blossom season starts next week.

(2) Tokyo Midtown opens this Friday. The largest redevelopment since the opening of Roppongi Hills - this development includes the new Oakwood Serviced Apartment and the first Ritz-Carlton in Tokyo, all opening this Friday.

Exciting times. Am currently munching on complimentary bread provided in the rooms with complimentary orange juice. There is also complimentary cornflakes, coffee, tea, nuts and of course the famous Nissin Cup Noodles. Yay for free food. I am hungry already.

You know the room is very small, so there is no luggage rack. Instead I decided to rest my luggage on top of the sink, which I have no intention to use. :)

Speciment no. 1 - Surf Washing Powder. Some people might be like, "huh?", but Surf washing powder is important because it is the only washing powder I used in my four years in UK. Guaranteed removal of 99 stains or your money back!!

Speciment no. 2 - See the box???? It's Tesco!!! I know it's Tesco Thailand, but I don't care!!! It's Tesco!!! Can't wait to go to Thailand for my Tesco fix!!!

Got tagged by my cussie, San

Instructions: This is what you are supposed to cut and paste if you decide to participate in the tagging game. Each player of this game starts off by giving 6 weird things about themselves. People who get tagged need to write in a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state the rules clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. After you do that, leave them each a comment letting them know you tagged them and to read your blog.

1. I can tell you the schedule of aeroplanes flying in and out of Singapore. Mostly SQ. Like SQ's morning Tokyo flight is SQ12 which stopover in Tokyo enroute to LA. Or SQ802 departs at 0850 daily for Beijing. The last SQ flight of the day (day, as in before the lull in the airport before the morning action starts again) is a 0210 (or issit 0200) flight to South Africa. It's operated by a B777-200ER most likely of the registration 9V-SV* or selected 9V-SR*. But then my friends all know about it and it's no longer weird to them. But it's still weird right?

2. I think number one is weird enough that I dun need to fill in no. 2 - 6 already. Number One surpasses all weirdness. Hhaha.

3. Well, If I remember, I'll come back and do more.

4.

5.

6.

Tagging: Shan, San (again - the rules doesn't say it's not allowed, haha), erm. LGF (I can tag a group of ppl right?), dunno already.

There are about 20,000 cabs on the road.

The probability of hailing the same cab two days in a row is 1/20000 or 0.5%.

But it happened. The same cab driver came down the same ol' Palmer Road, make the same right turn and stopped and ask "Going to Jalan XXX?"

It was quite cool (and I suppose quite scary) to be able to flag the same cab to days in a row. And it must be some luck too...

Here's some numbers to all 4D punters out there.

I boarded the cab at 2249 and reached home at 2301 on 1203 (12 March).

On 1303 (13 Mar), I boarded the cab at 2324 and alighted at 2334.

The distance was 12.00km.

The cab fare of 0810 or 0830.

The all important cab license plate? *243. hahaha, if you are serious enough, I'm sure u will buy all 10 numbers. :)

Good luck!

I wrote a super duper long post about Surrey, which comes attached with pictures.

But Blogger ate my post up.

Sigh.

Oh well.

Maybe it's trying to tell me something.

Huge Ass Things

Things come in big sizes this week!!!

Specimen Number One: Hugh Ass of A Slice of Cake

Mars and Shan and I met up for an impromptu date on Tuesday (impromptu for me, but not them). And we had the chocolate banana cake in Secret Recipe.

Not only issit tall, it is also long, see the comparison between the dessert fork and the length of the cake. But it was good and very delicious!!! And loads of banana too, definitely count as one serving of fruit in one slice!!!

Specimen Number Two: Huge Ass of a Pineapple Tart

Sally brought some pineapple tarts to work today and look at the size. Note the comparison between my lip balm container and the tart.

However, it is really really really good. Damn sinful. The pastry is soft and the filling is not too sweet. Yummy.

Things that Taste Good and Come in Huge Sizes = NOT GOOD.

I am writing this at work but I can't wait to go home.

However, I cannot go home because I need to send an email out and that email is 8 Megabytes.

I tried loading it onto myfile.sg, but it was taking way too long that I just gave up.

Went for dim sum buffet today.

Some people left a bad taste in my mouth with their "I am a big shot" comments.

Which was totally unnecessary and unwarranted in a relaxed and happy atomosphere such as this (It was Sally's birthday).

I give up waiting. I am going home.
