I was just sorting out my music on my computer, and I came across two songs: Corinne Bailey Rae - Put Your Records On Corinne Bailey Rae - Trouble Sleeping The thing is, the moment I played these two songs, I just felt as though I was transported back to Surrey, in the hot summer night (or wee hours of the morning), with the windows open, with this song playing on my lappie, with me just chilling in my room. What was I doing? Probably packing, or probably just lying on my bed listening and chilling out and thinking. Thinking of all sorts of things, of the summer, of my impending departure, of things going on in my life, of the future, of what holds for me. Somehow, these two songs seemed to have become the definitive songs of that summer. Not sure whether those memories are happy or sad. But definitely memories that I want to hold on to though.
