Our umbrella has been provided for your in-room comfort. Should you wish to purchase this item, please press the magic button."
The only bizarre thing in the room - why would i need an umbrella for my "in-room" comfort? Is it going to rain indoors?

I have died and gone to heaven!
(1) I lost my grounded status. (2) I am in a wonderful environment. (3) I have never stayed in anything that is more luxurious and more beautiful than this hotel.
I don't want this night to end.

It's been a week. So how is this week?
It was good. It was fun, to a certain extent. And I am also happy to report that I am actually enjoying what I am doing or reading!! :) :) :) It's really cool to read up on the reports and sometimes I am in awe of the work done by this people (ie. my colleagues), but at the same time, I am a bit scared because in time to come, I would be doing something similar too! The clients depend on the things we write, and the company's income depend on that very same thing. Woah, now that I think about it.
Saturday morning, went for my driving lesson stage 4.03. I was rather happy to be back there, to be back behind the wheel after 9 days! I did miss my driving lessons, my instructors (yes, even the ice man) throughout the week. Didn't get the ice man, but I did see him and his aloof and indifferent look (I don't think he acknowledge his students outside lessons), and I smiled to myself, because it was all so "familiar"... Hahaha, considering that I was here like 3 times a week before this week, it sure is familiar. :) I met B, my favourite instructor too, and had a short chat with him. I was smiling throughout. I sure was happy to be back at BBDC. Weird, I know. The lesson itself was okay. I did forget a few things here and there, but the general thought I had was that I was glad I was driving!! Hahaha.
The next driving lesson should conclude my entire driving course. Thank goodness it is not that long away, it's tomorrow. :)

I have a very vain driving instructor. His name is A (the exact same person as the ice man, mentioned a few entries ago). He is good looking I have to admit, but really too vain.
Let me tell you why.
He's always looking at his hands, and picking something in his fingernails, on his fingers or something. At EVERY lesson without fail, he would pull down the sunshade at the passenger seat and use the vanity mirror. I don't understand. There's always something about his face /hair that he is examining. Obviously I can't actually look at what he is examining, but I have to say I am curious.
Today he went one step further. You know the sun shades, you can actually detach one side and turn the shade yeah. That's what he did today. He detached one end and turned the shade clockwise such that it was 45 degree to the windscreen, and continued to examine his face, possibly to shield whatever he was examining from me. I couldn't help but actually stifle a laugh, because that is like, the ultimate in vanity!
And you thought driving instructors are supposed to watch ur driving and make sure everything is correct. Either A. He is highly confident in my skills in the circuit. B. He just cannot be bothered.
I have to say that all those examining usually take place only in the circuit. I have never seen him doing prolonged face/hair examination while on the roads. Thank God.

Sometimes I love Teachers' Day. This is largely due to the perk of being a teacher's sister. Have a look here:
Wee Suan's Teachers Day Foodie Presents - Candy Heaven!
What's the bad thing about Teachers' Day then? Term 3 holidays are usually just around the corner, which to me, a non-student, means more kids roaming the streets at times when they should be at home studying.
