Had a total BLAST of a birthday!!! :) Been receiving birthday messages from 12 midnight all the way till 2355h!!! Some of which were unexpected and I was kind of touched that ppl actually remembered and sent a msg to me! :) Thanks to everyone for their birthday greetings! I was a very happy birthday girl (though my moods changed quite a bit throughout the day, which is rather typical of me on my birthday - I even expected it for some reason!). Anyway, the birthday itself was normally a quiet affair for me. No gatherings, no parties, just a good dinner and cake with the family. This is a tradition and the tradition held, so we had a good dinner and a wonderful cake...  Green Tea Bavarian from The Patissier at Mohd SultanA layer of flavoured chocolate sandwiched between Green Tea mousse and rum soaked raisins  Me and my big mouth attempting to swallow the cake! It's an ugly picture! Haha, but for some reason I like it, maybe it's the big mouth But the night is still young. Got dressed up and went to meet the girls. Was actually thinking of going for drinks somewhere, but somehow, on reaching Raffles Place, we decided to go for a river tour, a very spontaneous idea from the usually sensible Becki. But nonetheless, we went. (Pictures didn't turn out, as I actually have not read the menu for my digicam, as to how to adjust aperture etc etc)   Boat Quay and The Fullerton. I have to say, the night view is really really nice. It's just me. Have not figured out my digicam yet.  Another spontaneous photo!!!! After we returned to "shore" at Raffles Place, we met up with Corinne who was all dressed up to the nines for a dinner earlier, and went to where we planned to go - Pitstop Cafe! It's actually a board games cafe, and loads and loads of FUN!! Going with a different bunch of people than the gang I normally go with brings a different experience, but a fun one nonetheless with loads of suan-ing and silly comments.    The night ended off with a group photo, which we then proceeded to leave behind, together with our creative expression.   Thanks for the wonderful evening, babes!!!  Our artpiece. Possibly one of the weirdest ones, with the polkadots and whatnots. It's weird, but it's unique. :) Came home to receive a really really really unexpected email. I am still reeling from the shock. Oh well, an opportunity nonetheless, if anything! Good start to my 24th year on this planet! Keep it coming! :) An Impression Was Left @ 4:00 am
